Either way what they should do is refund the tickets but offer free tickets to EURO 2021 for people who paid for UEFA EURO 2020
Well, they might cancel the Nations League so that they can begin WC qualifying in October or November.
First off, I want to thank you very much for the compliment and noticing my "brilliant mind!" If they are such a terrible organization, why do you voluntarily give them money? This is an honest question as it seems like you do not like dealing with them at all. The issue I have with the complaining is not the asking for the refund because I think UEFA should give refunds to people. It's the fact that you are coming on a message board to complain that your refund should come as quick as possible when we are in a real health crisis and uncertain time with people dying daily (and no real idea how many people truly died from this). That's what I think is daft and incredibly selfish. Especially as pointed out before, they could just say, "no refunds and just use your tickets for 2021."
I am really done with trying to explain my reasoning, I surrender. Sorry for interrupting the topic with discussions. I hope euro will be held next year, and we will be lucky enough to buy tickets again to follow international football and support our countries.
What i ment was that if the concerts or shows will be in the city but not in the stadium, then i dont see any problem with that
What guarantee do you have that in the summer of 2021 life will be back to normal where large crowds are allowed to gather again? Nobody can give that guarantee right now and people need money for other essential things.
Hopefully the 3 doubtfuls are bluffing, much easier for me if they keep the same format. "Ceferin, the most powerful figure in European football, conceded the initial 12 host cities may not all be able to stage matches, but is adamant the competition will take place. “The idea is that we stay in the same cities,” he said. "We have had conversations with nine cities and everything is set. "With three cities, we have some issues. So we will discuss further, and in principle, we will do it in 12 cities. But if not, we are ready to do it in 10, nine or eight." https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/uefa-chief-issues-update-euros-22041031
Wonder what are those 3 cities. I have seen various confirmations referencing UEFA that London, Glasgow, Dublin, Bilbao and Munich have been confirmed for 2021. So, that leaves 7. I have seen comments from both Amsterdam and Copenhagen that they will be fine hosting, but wonder if both are on the bubble due to Dutch spectator comment and Danish Tour de F issue. Has anyone seen any mention of what the 3 may be?
Did Bilbao definitely say yes to hosting? I ask because I did not see that and thought they may be on the fence because of Coronavirus in Spain. My dark horse for pulling out is St. Petersburg as Coronavirus really has gotten bad there. But, don't worry, everyone, I imagine Baku is good to host!!! I think the virus would have to wipe out Azerbaijan before they even thought about canceling.
Russia is just 2 months behind Spain and Italy in this but bearing in mind the tournement is 13 months away I don't think current figures and trends are that relevent.
The 2018 FIFA WC was a huge success in Russia. I cannot see them giving up these games in SPB easily. My guess is Rome, Bilbao, Amsterdam and Copenhagen. UEFA may not fancy the restrictions being talked about to facilitate the Tour de France. No chance of any new host countries. Either the existing cities will take the extra games or possibly new English venues. Although UEFA may have to consider the possibility of England reaching the final travelling no further than Dublin.
Confirmed along with London. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hampden-line-euro-2020-boost-22042821
Suspect they're still haggling for better compo along with 2 other venues and they'll all go ahead as planned. Haven't heard of any confirmation from Budapest or Bucharest either, pretty sure the others have. This story's from last month: https://tass.ru/sport/8291753
If Bilbao is a go, maybe the three are Rome, Copenhagen, and Amsterdam then. Could be Bucharest or Budapest too, but much like what was said about Russia, I feel the same about these two not giving up hosting easily.
I would love to see it but at least they have London and Glasgow down and probably Dublin but do they have Belfast as a city
