They would have by now if Xhaka was in the starting XI but he isn't

Spain look flat and listless after their epic victory last week ..

That said the young CB Torres who was brought in for this match has been dreadful from the very first minute ..

If Spain manage to win this I don’t think we will see him in the next game

He had both feet off the ground at impact - out of control so automatic red card

I don’t understand what Enrique has against Traore. I get he doesn’t score often, but he offers more pace than Moreno, who also can’t score. Why not bring him on against a tired Swiss team that’s playing a man down?

It's not happening. The Gods are with the Swiss.

Had to turn it off and listen to the Galician feed on the radio. Luis Enrique is great at grinding out wins and giving an entire nation heart attacks

I don't know how/where/why you got a red card but to answer your question...

You see that man in the middle, wearing the black goalkeeper's kit?

Him, right there. That's the guy.

Whew, I didn't think we had a chance in pens and switched it off, couldn't watch it. Strangely, while I was waiting for the penalties to finish live to then check the results, I shit you not, I came across a student name card, the name was "Sommer", same as the Swiss goalkeeper so I took that as a sign that there was no chance for Spain.

Now to watch a little Italy and Belguim, hmm, red vs. white again.

    3 for 3. :)

And they will be the designated away team in the semifinals so likely to wear white again, even against Italy..

I'll add that whenever Spain have reached a Euro or World Cup semifinal they've gone on to win the tournament. Never lost a semi in either competition. :coffee:

I’m finally starting to believe that we can do it, after having zero expectations whatsoever heading into this tournament.
