Not really. He's scored twice already.

And the problem is not that he doesn't score. It's that he loses the ball every time he gets it.

We have a problem then. From what we've seen against Austria, this NT is not good at letting the opponent play and hit on the counter. They are only good when they manage to dominate possession.

I'm the last person to defend Immobile, just check previous posts. But based on his career goal per game rate, he is due to score today. Just sayin.

Starting Raspadori is not bold, just stupid. He's barely played for the national team, and now you are going to drop him into a semi-final against Spain? Absolute madness...Mancini is trying to win this tournament.

Wow. This is hysterical....Though the Danish guy looks more like Bernardeschi when he was rocking the side part hairstyle a few years back.

WC 2014 in that first game against England was hysterical seeing him run on the pitch. Someone forgot to tell him it was over with that bozo the clown looking hair running around badly representing gli azzurri. That was criminal allowing him on the pitch like that and to make it worse he was Oriundi .

It's over bro . Sorry Paletta. Ciao.

Hope that crap doesnt continue .You dont capitalize on your best chances ( and sitters ) then you are just giving the other team extended life to come back and screw you . Finish damn it .

Miss the time when we had class / clinical bombers and finishers at the front . Of course they were never perfect and missed themselves , but they knew how to finish more often that not. Immobile is a liability compared to them. It's frustrating.

    Put ...it....away

This 433 is not working. There’s not a team in the world that is going to our possession Spain. We need to change approach completely

Forgettable half, but happy they're not down. Can't repeat that performance. Changes are coming.

Agreed. Does Mancini have it in him to change at the half?

At this rate, Immobile is going to cost us the game... too many balls lost upfront that lead to runs the other way. Enough is enough with this clown!

Emerson has been OK. Flawed but he's linked up alright with Lorenzo.

We need some more pace in the middle. Verratti has won us back the ball a few times so not sure if it's him or Jorginho (call me crazy, ya..) that goes off.. or maybe Immobile for a mid and we go 3-5-2 with Di Lorenzo back 3?

Need to adapt here. Spain is shaky at the back..

Spain presses well, i was worried for a second i thought Chiesa was injured since Berardi was warming up. Emerson is 50/50, good thing Spain can't finish anything.

Mancini got outcoached the first half. Enrique played a false 9 and basically it was 5 midfielders vs 3 most of the time. We are numerically outnumbered in the middle and it is causing tons of turnovers. He better adjust.

Immobile killed a couple nice counters with his feet and Emerson really should have done better with his chances.

The other thing is that when we intercept the ball, Spain presses us IMMEDIATELY and it has caused turnovers off our counter. We have to be more composed.

Toloi for Di Lorenzo because we need the defensive cover. Drop Chiesa deeper as a wide midfielder (or Florenzi)

Belotti for Immobile to give us more running

Locatelli in for I don’t know who. We need a better physical presence in the mid.

There are two ways to beat that press....you either move the ball really fast and precisely. Or you hit them over the top with Chiesa and Immobile beating that slow backline. We have to do one or the other.

Teams that are destined to win a cup usually find a way to get it done. No clue what will happen in the 2nd half.
