Which is why I think I fear Italy more than I do any other team in EURO

He was only first choice because Verratti was unavailable.

Agreed about Jorginho though. He's essential to the starting 11.

I just love Roberto Mancini especially love his suits that he wears while he is on the touch line. Always loved him as a manager especially when he was at my club of Inter or when he was a manager at Manchester City. If anything you Italians are playing similarly to Man City.

Verratti and Chiesa are in a similar place. You can argue they are more talented than the guys currently playing in their spot. They will need to wait for their opportunity and capitalize when called upon. I tend to agree that Mancini will stick to his starting XI from the first two matches, and that should be enough to get us past our Round of 16 opponents. The real test for all these guys and when Verratti and Chiesa will need to pounce on their opportunity is when they get called upon in the quarters, likely against a top side.

Pessina came from Serie C or Lega Pro, B and then the A!

This shows how much talent there is in the lower divisions its just a matter of getting an opportunity and recognized.

Yeah, but I think it's too late to start tinkering with what worked so well in the first two games. If things don't work out so smooth vs. Ukraine/ Austria you have a super sub on the bench
