Both teams may be issued a point as I don't know if the schedule would allow a makeup and I can't see them asking the players and coaches to take the field today.

Just saw a photo, him on stretcher, eyes open, oxygen mask on, and holding his hand to his forehead. Certainly promising.

He is apparently 500 m from the top hospital in Copenhagen so faster to walk him acorss the street. That is reported on Guardian live feed

What? Both teams issued just a point? No that is ridiculous. I think they can totally reschedule tomorrow. Anyways, it seems Eriksen is awake which is good news.

Eriksen was rushed to what is known as the Kingdom Hospital and according to the Danish FA he is now both alive and awake

Glad to hear he has been stabilized. Seeing the EMTs do chest compressions and what looked like a defibrillator was scary as anything.

You can't abandon a game where points matter, I can't see them asking the players to play again today. They play Thursday, so they can squeeze it in before Tuesday, I suppose, but I feel like if they can't then the only way to allow both teams to continue on is by calling it a draw and issuing a point to both sides.

As things stand, he is well.... right at a time, after 15 months of a life-endangering pandemic, just when one thought we could begin to re-enter normal life with fans in the stadium, this just showed how fragile life is. This is certainly something Ill take with me from tonight's football: cherish life.

There is right now a crisis meeting between the two teams and the referee, so we will see what kind of agreement they come up with

It would seem that UEFA are leaving it up to the two teams/countries to decide what is going to happen

let the players decide - that's sensible. I have no idea how they could continue. Respect to all of them no matter their decisions.

When the situation unfolded and one could see the Finish players on the sidelines watching, I asked myself, if I was a Finish player, would I have had the balls to walk over the field and join the Danish team shielding Eriksen or if they would have perceived that as offensive? I dont have an answer yet

All of us who watched it live saw him keeping his tongue out while Eriksen was lying on his side before being rolled on his back when medics arrived. It was a frightening scene from start to finish.

Both teams have now decided to play the remaining part of the match around 20 minutes from now, knowing that Eriksen is hospitalized but is ok
