Here we go. Fideo vs spaghetti, jamón vs. prosciutto. I finally think we can win this whole thing! ¡¡¡¡Fuerza la Furia Roja!!!!

I admire your optimism but our defense is shaky at best and our best striker is "own goal".... with that said, I think every game is 50/50 depending on many factors.

Let's hope the Italians play a more open game than the Swiss and the Swedes (most likely they will).

Italy will definitely attack more. I'll be interested to see how we perform against a more attacking team with talent comparable to ours.

From other forums and media, most people are picking Italy to win, which is probable fair since they have performed better than we have. But underestimate us at their peril, certainly the Italian team won't underestimate us even if their fans probably do.

Hope Spain can win tomorrow. What I would say is I like Luis Enquires character. Tenacious is the word that springs to mind.

Italy I mean they do have a superior manager in Mancini but as far as overall talent I would say both teams are pretty evenly matched. It just all comes down to tactics at the end of the day really. Plus I'm sure Italy knows you guys will probably play your tiki-taka and might plan for that. However, that being said Spain just need to put their foot on the gas because if they can do that, then they actually can beat Italy. To think Spain are considered underdogs and I thought I would never see that.

Here are the stats if anyone is interested. I would argue that Luis has the better numbers but at the end of the day futbol only cares about the game you will play next.

Of course people can rightly argue that his numbers are inflated due to coaching Barcelona.

Mancini's last run with Italy is over 74% wins! That is a champions numbers. It's hard to bet agaisnt Italy winning the whole thing.

Interesting. Morata nor Pau starting today. Starting with Oyarzabal and pairing Eric Garcia with Laporte this time around.

Oyarzabal , I want to slap him silly.

    Morata actually scored.

Playing Italy in the semis has reduced my life by third.

I do not understand the subbing of Azpilicueta at all.
Italians are done, they are playing for penalties.

You win by the sword, you die by the sword.
    Happened to the Swiss.
    I expect the same here.

A great run by the team that has me looking forward to the next 18 months.

In Copa America and Euro there have been four matches decided on penalties.
The team that kicked first won each time.
