It's a direct quote from Bease as far as Cory Gibbs being his best friend on the team. When LD was asked something about Bease coming back - he hadn't even heard anything about it.

And I did not say that Donovan's experience didn't have some influence on DaMarcus's thinking. But that's a long way from saying Donovan directly talked to him about it, which is what you were implying.

Are you still best friends with the same person you were BFF with at 17?

It is amazing that you are knocking MLS then! ;) (Same goes for that Wigan/Reading match). I watched all three EPL matched on FSW on Saturday. It was again proof that any league can turn out brilliance or crap with any given fixture.

Anyhoo, MLS is good enough that it is a better option for our top players than riding the pine IMHO.

No doubt, any league can turn out brilliance or crap in any fixture, the better leagues are more apt to produce brilliance, while the other leagues seem more apt to produce crap. This time of season crap seems to be the perferred item on the fixture menu.

    What Woodrow said.

If you've heard that Beasley and Donovan had some falling out, please do pass it along.

But my impression is that Mapp still collects 75% of his stats in 25% of his games. (And with Adu, he's pretty strongly left footed.)

But you're assuming he'd have done well in said run-out.

I think that's an insult to the Hot USMNT Photo threads. Oh, and those threads also seem to have more insightful analysis.

I'd be really curious to hear a source on this.

It's a good move, potentially. I really couldn't come up with a place that is a better fit for Beasley off the top of my head.
