I do not know, Sorry - hope someone else has that answer for us - I'd also like to know any info about the national series (location, format, etc.) as this is my first season following NPSL.... Goerie.com listed the following game times for next weekend's matches at Gannon, BTW: Saturday: Erie-Binghamton 5:00 PM Detroit-Cleveland immediately following Sunday: Final 5:00 PM See: http://www.goerie.com/apps/pbcs.dll...9882/Erie-Admirals-SC-clinch-conference-title Admirals will probably have updates on their Facebook as well: http://m.facebook.com/?_rdr#!/profile.php?id=139551366880
I don't know how they are going to work the other conferences, but I've been told that the winner of the Great Lakes tourney will play the winner of Mid-West Central 1 game, winner to represent all Midwest in the national tournament (which will be in San Diego BTW). I will let you know if I find out more...
over here it looks to me like NYRB will likely host the Morris County (NJ) Colonials and the FC Sonic (PA) host the Brooklyn (NY) Italians. But the NPSL website remains rather quiet on all...lol

congrats go out to Erie as they just beat Detroit 4-1 in Detroit before over 2100 spectators to take the conference playoff championship. Apparently it will be the Quad City Eagles who are next up against the Erie Admirals...

The Commish explains on how the league does not list a standard playoff format for all conferences: http://www.nationalpremiersoccerleague.com/home/732736.html I wonder why they seemed to switch to having two seperate SF's and a champoinship game the following week. Originally, I had seen only one reference to this format (the Detroit City schedule page: http://www.detcityfc.com/dcfc-schedule ) and every other reference had the final-four at one weekend (all mentioning San Diego). BTW, the Commish Q-A I posted above appears to state the final-four format, also (question 8).
...also, strange that the NPSL has a final-four logo This came from the NPSL Playoffs page (with a URL of "tryouts:" http://www.nationalpremiersoccerleague.com/tryouts/578091.html ) that has seperate "2013 NPSL National Championship" posters for each SF game.
I think that he might have possibly been confused as there was no final 4 this year at a central location...

http://www.goerie.com/npsl-club-unveils-new-name-head-coach officials confirmed the franchise's new name is Erie Commodores FC and the new home field is McDowell High School's Gus Anderson Field. They also promoted Neil Brown to head coach after a four-year stint as associate head coach and assistant coach.
http://www.npsl.info/home/870549.html While the team has changed its name (formerly Erie Admirals SC) and logo, it will return to its roots and wear a traditional blue and white uniform while adding a hint of gold. The Commodores wish to remain tied to its successful history with the changes a rebranding effort as opposed to a separation from its past. The Commodores will continue the Admirals’ tradition of success, both on and off the field.
