My little brother just got back from summer camp and claims that one of his counselors played for United during the preseason. The counselors name is Paul Phillips and he is British. Phillips claims to have played recently for Wimbledon. Has this guy ever been with DC or has anyone even heard of the guy
9 out of 10 expats you meet in a soccer context say they have played for somebody. In my experience, many of these back off of this when you start pressing them for details in a way that shows you know something about the professional game over there. Not to impugn those who have legitimate experience, but it's always good to verify.
