Charlie Setford kept a cleen sheet for Jong Ajax on Monday & was named in the TOTW.

Younger brother Tommy kept a cleen sheet & saved a 92nd minute penalty in Ajax's UEFA Youth League game today.

Will be interesting to see if the Setford's remain with England as they progress into first team football, the Dutch goalkeeping situation seems desperately poor so it really would take very little to make their squad.

While we're on the topic of Anglo-Dutch players: does anyone know anything about Kenneth Taylor?

I've not been able to find anything on the internet about him being English and, surprisingly for a Dutch person, he doesn't seem to speak great English but with a name like that there must be some heritage.

Funnily enough he was awful for Blackburn. Maybe he's better in a less physical league

Difficult to play centre back in the Championship as a teenager! Branthwaite is a couple of years older now and more ready for this level. At 6'5 I doubt he'll struggle with the physical aspect during his career.

Scouts from several teams will be there to watch him against Sevilla next week. Hadn't realised he is left footed. Last youth cap was in 2021, surely Lee Carsley should select him for next month.

Signed a new contract with Chelsea but apparently only until summer 2024. Not sure what the plan is there.o_O

He's started their last three games and was described as a 'washing machine for tidying up possession'.

Cracking header! If Everton survive you have to imagine he would be a player Dyche would like considering his size and physicality plus he can play from the back. I’ve always rated him from what I’ve seen of him since his younger days.

Yes, we know that, because you already said that about three times.
I think everyone got the message by now.

He was also younger back then. You do know that players improve as they get older and more playing time means more experience etc, etc. For some reason, some people just make their minds up about a kid when they are nowhere near their peak years.

I've been checking Nice's website every now & then to see if I can find any updates on Atta. There's been nothing for a while but they've recently removed his profile from their website & he's deleted all IG posts + gone private. So it would appear he's left the club.

James Tavernier in his 8th season as a Rangers player scored his 100th goal for them today. He also has 114 assists. He's a bloody right back! Most strikers would be happy with those numbers. I'm surprised no one in the Premier League has taken a chance on him. At the least he's a dead ball specialist.

Prehaps he doesn’t want to leave. He is club captain and might be comfortable being a major player rather than having to start over again back in England.
