Look at their squad. He's at the level of some of their options already. He'll have to have one hell of a season in Holland to get in our squad for 2022.

Unless he bides his time and sticks with the U21’s for the time being because if he’s not in next weeks squad he will be in the next cycle for sure. Hopefully he’s not in a rush to make his decision.

For what it's worth, every interview I've watched since he went to holland, he's always spoken about being part of this new generation of English players. He says he looks at Sancho etc as inspiration for wanting to break into the england team. I think he'll stick.

Hes only 18. He will look at other Nigeria eligible players like saka Abraham etc and look at the fact they went with England. The dutch link is ridiculous.

Probably what the Germans are saying about England rushing through Jude Bellingham.

I wonder have Bayern got much talent in their squad given that they are playing an inexperienced 17 year old in a Champions League knockout game. Not sure how he managed to impress and score what with his lack of experience.

What experience do you need for international football? Especially one without fans. It is at a far lower level than the club game.

The next three games for Germany are against mighty Iceland (when they play England), Romania and North Macedonia. If you are good enough you are old enough. This has been proven time and again in all sports. Experience is a phrase people like to use as an excuse.

That performance by Tomori in his most recent game against Verona was possibly his weakest so far at Milan even though they kept a clean sheet. Playing at right centre back this time with Romagnoli he could have given away a goal at the start with a weak header back to Donarumma and was erratic with his passing. He did improve as the game went on but was consistently beaten in the air.

Interested to see how he does against Manchester United on Thursday.

Bellingham played the whole game and didn't look out of place at that level, even getting shouts on twitter for man of the match. Haaland is a monster though.:ROFLMAO:

Hopefully Sancho will be back in time for their quarter final.

It's true, we have a lack of talent in that position and coming through.

Who do we have coming through in his position over the next few years who could make a difference for our senior team? Bellingham, Skipp, Gallagher, Doyle, Garner that could realistically challenge for that central midfield idk?

Garner is getting on really well in the Championship now with Forest.

Skipp has been great all season too.

Skipp has been very good. I think Garner still has a fair way to go. The best thing for Skipp would be to stay with Norwich in the PL next season.

Matthew Bondswell moves back to England. One of the earlier youngsters to try their luck abroad but didn't really work out for him.

Is he still playing as a striker? If so, you have to wonder when we are pretty thin for strikers for the U21’s why he wasn’t considered and an out of form/out of sorts striker like Brewster was who hasn’t scored a goal for a long time gets included.

He's being used as a winger.
