I have to admire Sterling. He's really trying to make things happen for England, but too many Germans to beat and he's not exactly Maradona.

    1. Every premiere league coach watching this as no one has been able to so fully nullify Kane the way Southgate has.
    2. Sterling really is the worst decision maker with the worst touch. He makes the runs but you can't trust him and with Rashford and others available, I'd switch.
    3. Looks like a 1-0 Germany win at this stage off an error.

How does Saka knock Ruddiger off his feet? Ruddiger's play acting would make John Gielgud blush.

that center run by sterling seems to be the one thing he does really well that no one can defend. Happy to see England advance.

A lot of credit to Sterling for making that run with the ball and making things happen in that final third. Good to see him score too. Someone had to step up and it seems like Sterling is the man now for England.

    That was beautifully worked play.

I won't be surprised if Germany is eliminated today.
    I haven't feel it's a strong team.
It'll be sad for Loew for his last match as coach of Germany.

I always wonder how announcers don't notice details, Muller's plant foot went awry just as he was starting his shot....I guess they're busy, but man, it's obvious why that shot went wide, didn't quite plant it right.

who gave away the ball again? Sterling is a player you can't really trust. It's a tough call.

    Buonanotte Germania!

Gotta love that since they opened their mouths and made fun of Italy and Netherlands for not making 2018... they've turned into garbage. GODO! Germania a casa!

Jogi needed to go in 2012. I can't believe he was kept for so long.

We won't see many of these Germany players again. New coach will clean house.
