Re: England U-21 Discussions Thread #5 [R] 1-1 good result in the end. Smalling and Walker were superb. Welbeck also worked hard and deserved his goal. Cannot have Rose and Mancienne in the first XI in midfield again.
Re: England U-21 Discussions Thread #5 [R] Spain bossed that match but could not get the win! Phew! Considering the game I am happy with a draw. I thought Walker looked dangerous going forward, he just needs to work on his final ball when in a dangerous position. If we win the next 2 we go through!
Re: England U-21 Discussions Thread #5 [R] Well not really. Taking off Rose and Mancienne helped England a lot, they were out of their depth. Spain also took off their striker to play keepball which gave them a lot more possession at the cost of having nobody to get on the end of a final pass. It's just a different way of shutting up shop.
