I have a feeling that ManU will offload Pogba ( maybe in the Jan window ) and make Jack and Villa an offer they can't refuse .

Rice is the type of player who can play however he wants and Southgate will still pick him.. he was totally at fault for the first Belgium goal but got no stick for it.

He’s scarily good. l don’t even care that much about the goal, but the way he dominates games... He’s a mix between Hleb and Hazard, with a better long range pass than both. If he maintains this level, he’s England’s second most important player behind Kane.

How do you think England line up under Southgate? Seems like Sterling, Kane, Grealish with rice and Henderson behind.. that leaves Mount (who he likes a lot) out and also Rashford, Sancho, Foden..

I agree Grealish is looking good, I’d love to see him unleashed behind a front 3.. oh well

Difficult to say, grealish’s form could make him reconsider the system. Grealish behind Kane, Rashford sterling wide, and Rice Henderson. I hate this pivot with a passion but I’d be ok with it with Grealish CAM.

Last night Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher were in agreement that Grealish has to start with England and Southgate will have to make it work .

Dean Henderson made a mistake staying at United. He’s gone from first choice to a bench warmer

mom hoping we see more 442 now

it really suits the English lads too. Saka, esr in the hole, willock b2b and amn in multiple areas

we aren’t good enough for expansive football atm

That's good.. if Southgate has to persist with a back 3 I like Stones in a back 3. At least he can pick a pass and is an upgrade on most of them IMO. Good to see him doing well and getting games now

Watched a bit of England Argentina 98 yesterday. England playing 3/5/2 too back then, but Hoddle was much bolder than Southgate in his choices. Anderton (who was a winger) and Le Saux as wing backs, Ince Scholes Beckham in the middle. And Shearer Owen. England robbed, against an incredibly talented Argentina team (Ortega Veron Batistuta Ayala Simeone Zanetti etc)

Get Musiala called up to the next senior squad! Kids clearly a huge talent! I don’t always advocate to calling up young players too early but he’s now playing plenty for Bayern and making an impression.

I used to feel that Stones would grow into one if England’s best ever defenders but ...

Now whilst stats do have a place in the conversation he was involved in that nightmarish misunderstanding when he blindly passed back to the keeper .. who wasn’t there !!

Keepers positioning was dreadful. No idea why he is running out when Stones is covering the run and in control.

He didn't particularly look it when he played for England I don't think.
