Robinson, Bogle, Brewster and McAtee start for Sheffield United. Davies, Osborn, Arblaster, Brooks and Foderingham are on the bench,

 

Colwill, Chilwell, Gallagher, Palmer and Sterling start for Chelsea in the League Cup final. Bettinelli, Chalobah, Gee, Gilchrist and Madueke are on the bench.
Elliott starts for Liverpool in the League Cup final. Gomez, Clark. McConnell, Danns, Quansah and Nyoni are on the bench.

 

Jordan Henderson only fit enough for the bench for Ajax’s match today.

Joe Gomez has come on now due to injury to Ryan Gravenberch. Looks like he will play right back.

 

Pochettino pushes Gallagher very high up the pitch nowadays for Chelsea and he's nowhere near the areas of the pitch where he needs to receive the ball from the centre-backs. When Chelsea don't have the ball he's even part of the front two at times. Real contrast between how Pochettino sees him vs. how Southgate sees him.

 

I wouldn't trust him receiving the ball there either. Same with Henderson.

Clark too. This game is a good advertisment for English youth

McConnell and Clarke in particular are terrific prospects. I just hope the next Liverpool manager continues to give (English) youth a chance, rather than always buying in ready-made players Mourinho-style.

Madueke can be a tough watch

Pochetino must be at risk at the end of the season, Particularly as financially they can’t really afford no Europe again.
