Yeah, I have given Fireburn the benefit of the doubt up to now but saying Pep is going to get sacked after the success he's had and having had a run of tough games with multiple injuries is just pure nonsense. Not many teams are winning at Villa this season the way they are playing and the other games were draws where they dominated. Granted they were poor last night but it happens when teams have injuries. I'd still back Pep to turn it around and City to win it, always happens, although what a title race and top 4 race this season. Most exciting season in years.
He's like a shit Frank Lampard. Scores goals but does eff all else. At least Lampard could pass a ball
Only caught the second half of Man U - Chelsea, but Sterling was really anonymous. Mudryk on the other wing, kept messing up passes but at least he was visible enough to effect the play. I had to keep checking the line-up to remind myself Sterling was playing. Chelsea midfield was dysfunctional, each player playing their own game it seemed. The amount of passes they gave was shocking for a supposed big team.
I listened to the entire match on the radio and I don’t remember his name being said many times in the second half either.
12 Englishmen on show too. Brilliant. Makes such a change from having to watch teams like Liverpool line up with just one token England player.

Just going to say the same thing. Touch, awareness, physique he's got the lot. We could have a real midfielder on our hands here.
