Zidane had the most memorable of all final moments on the pitch.

Arsenal fans will be quite angry - none of them wanted him to play tonight.

Arteta deserves this. Anyone could see from a mile out that Saka had been overused for well over a year now but he refused to give him rest and now this is the result. I just hope that it isn't the start of chronic muscle injury issues for Saka like Pedri has suffered following that 70-odd game season.

Just saw him walking off. Seems like a reassurance of his old injury

Muscular. Clearly linked to the issues he has been having.

Bellingham and saka are the future of English football. Just hope they're not ruined by injuries

Rashford's assist was brilliant, he basically smashed it straight onto Hojiland's fod

If Saka is out I do wonder if Southgate will try and get Maddison and Rashford either side of Kane.

********ing genius. How anyone can't see the similarities between him and Zidane is beyond me. BTW was the commentator having a stroke at the end

I remember having a look at the Dortmund forum when he was playing for them and they were saying he didn't deserve to wear the shirt and they should sell him asap because his value was never going to go up. ********ing clueless.

There are similarities but Zidane was a smoother player and Jude has a long way to go to achieve what Zidane did. That said I watched a fair bit of Zidane for Madrid and was a bit underwhelmed by him relative to his reputation. I felt he had big big moments in key games rather than being consistently brilliant.

Depends if he thinks he can keep him next time as well. I’m not sure Sterling will be back if Southgate thinks he might have to drop him in November again. But then again Southgate replacing Saka and Eze with Sterling and Mount just feels so his style. Mount getting recalled would be as controversial as Maguire considering his performance at the weekend and tonight,

And to think, it was only last week that his detractors in Spain were dismissing him as a tap in merchant. First goal hanger I've seen who hangs out from the halfway line.

What a Player!! Cant wait for Euro 2024
Also just came to know that Jude Bellingham is La Liga's Top Scorer!! He's a Midfielder, in the same league with Lewandowski!

Exactly! Same ppl with issues against Englands NT. Jude is overshadowing Real Madrid's "Former" Wonder Kid Camavinga yet still not getting that recognition.

Curtains for Mount if Ten Hag goes. A player brought in just because one manager likes him is not going to be liked by the next one.

Unless Man United poach Southgate or hire Potter or Lampard of course.

They'll get that Brighton Manager and then Potter goes back to Brighton. ;)

How is it curtains for Mount if Ten Hag leaves? Every manager he’s ever played under has loved him including Thomas Tuchel. The next manager will rate him too because he’s an excellent player.

At Chelsea their fans respected him as the academy boy but he doesn’t have many backers at Man United. Maddison doing so well at Spurs doesn’t help his case as well.
