Before they tied it, we were also close to scoring a 3rd. ;)

Boliva in la Paz is harder than playing Brasil, its like making fun of doing bad against Ecuador in Quito

Any way just came to say u guys had a good game and helped us out cause now we are 4th :), I think Colombia is doing well so far, we just need to start scoring with our strikers, but their is always bustos with his free kicks if we had him against Brasil and Boliva we could have had 9 points and not 5 but its still 5 more points than last time

Historically Chile never does badly in La Paz, so maybe that's where that comes from. Colombia seems like to have a tough defense once again, it'll be a difficult opponent for us.

Chile will be ok as long as we beat Paraguay. Some say that even a draw wouldn't be bad... but we can't afford to lose points AT HOME against a direct opponent. :p

Colombia had a rough start last qualifiers losing to Boliva 0-4 in La Paz, So far these first 5 points have been a breath of fresh air.

These are the teams and the points they started off with after the first 3 rounds for the 2006 World Cup qualifiers.

    Argentina: 7
    Brazil: 7
    Paraguay: 6
    Uruguay: 6
    Chile: 4
    Peru: 4
    Ecuador: 3
    Venezuela: 3
    Bolivia: 3
    Colombia: 0

Also the fact that we have to wait till June for the next round of qualifying games.

Our next two games in June will be against BOLIVIA and VENEZUELA, both away games. As a reference, with Perro Verde, Chile won BOTH of those games. Against venecos y bolitas we seem to have some kind of psychological advantage and we always seem to get good results from both of them.

I'm sure that with Bielsa we can get at leat 4 of those points, mostly because Venezuela seems a little better than last time. I'm mostly fancying we can get all 6, because I think we are capable of doing that.

If we can beat Paraguay at home (a VERY difficult game) and then get at LEAST 4 points against both Bolivia and Venezuela, Chile could achieve 11 points in 6/18 games. Not bad.

The game against Paraguay in Chile is CRUCIAL!! I don't want to say that this game will condition our appearence in S.Africa, but it will definetly be a BIG step forwards or backwards...I'm confident we will get AT LEAST a draw...but I'm hoping for the win...I go for Chile 2-1 Paraguay.

I don't know if the one I get in Canada is the same as in other places, but the scottish guy doing the colour commentary was going nuts...he said some pretty weird stuff --

    1. about some Uruguayan player he said "he stretched every inch of his beautiful body..."
    2. "What a great game, this game is getting me hot, what a turn on!..."

this is in addition to him obviously being a uruguay fan. When the playbyplay guy was calling the game and uruguay had a chance you'd have the analyst being like "hmm, ay, yes... etc." He even called the goal before it went in
