I was wondering what happened to all the news on this guy. I really like him, but between his chronic back problems and Reyna's contstant injuries I hope we're not putting together a team of expensive cripples.

Ronaldo to Delgado. what a piece of bull s*@t!!!! Sorry, but is Delgado isn't big enough for New York, also, he over 30, failed most clubs ( mexico and england ). if Ronaldo come and Delgado is signed is a negative impact on MLS, and on the future youth, Jozy shouldn't be a bench player, there no need Two SI on top. Delgado is more like a Houston and Kansas player, not New York.

Well I don't think he would count as a DP. We were trying to sign him towards the end of last season. I guess since Wanchope fell through Red Bull fell back on Delgado. I do wonder if this means no Ronaldo though. Maybe he's just an insurance policy in case Ronaldo doesn't come.

Look at, Delgado record with Pumas and Southam, he was crap. With age and poor track record, he's another Tico-Tico. there's better ecuadorian: Tenerio. Go far Tevez or Saviola, Maybe Robbie Keane, there's tons of irish in New York. No Delgado!!!!!

With Reyna's injury problems we don't need another hospital case on the roster. Why is this obvious to all but team management. For once we should give ourselves a chance for real success.

The turf will be as hard on backs as on ankles and knees.

Robbie Keane is 25 and he just signed through 2010 with Spurs.

That's one deal that is not going to happen. Though I would very much like to see him here in a couple of years.

isn't he suspended from playing for a year for his involvement in a huge fight between barcelona and liga? i was probably horribly misinformed, just wondering.
