you make me almost not hate the galaxy fanbase as a whole almost =]. yeah we're glad to be back too, believe me. The first Quakes - Galaxy game will be bittersweet to say the least. The greatest MLS rivalry will duke it out once again, and a few months ago i would have said that and called myself crazy while grabbing for a kleenex.
This year? One thing for sure, and by now I think even Gals fans would agree: whoever it is that the Quakes grab from the Gals will instantly start playing 100% better, and turn into a solid MLS player or star.

He's making very ugly mistakes with LA right now. Part of the reason why most of that team is injured is bec he's too nice on them in practice, not forcing them to get in shape. Poor tactics, lots of poor decisions. We need someone new.
I think that the weak practices are endemic to El-Lay, that is, I don't think that Frank has the authority to make them practice harder. Guys show up late to practice and Frank can't punish them for it. There's no discipline down there. When Frank was the coach in San Jose, the team worked hard, players were on time to practice, whoever did best in practice got more minutes on game day. That isn't happening in El-Lay because they are a bunch of prima donas and are protected by gAlexi Lala. I think there's more to it than that, but I'm pretty sure that Frank is being undercut by gAlexi. Also, they made some two for one trades that have killed their depth, and they have a bunch of older guys who can't handle the over-stacked schedule. That said, the tactical errors are on Frank. Still, I think that if we had Frank as head coach, Doyle as assistant, and Johnny Moore as GM we would have a hard working team, playing stylish ball on the pitch. But I'm open to suggestions. I might be happy with Doyle as head coach with Baicher or Russell or both as assistants. El-Lay is a leach sucking the life blood out of the Western United States and Northern Mexico. It is a foul, festering, cess-pool of coruption! And unless there are some serious changes made in the upper management of the evil, cheating, league-favored, water-stealing, smog-breathing, animal-abusing galactofilth, they will continue to suck hard next season.
