A reminder that 5 subs (12 players on bench) are allowed to be made during 3 stoppages in the match for all Europa League ties this season. A 6th sub will be allowed in knockout stage extra time. This match will be shown on CBS All Access.
I know this is a Europa League thread but I just heard a commentator say we haven't been top of the league this far into the season since 1985. I'm interested in Vinicius as I haven't seen him play well.
I remember Ronaldinho's free kick vs. England. Apparently he did mean it, in terms of it wasn't a cross, but it went in the opposite corner that he intended. Winks hit a long distance screamer in the first half.
Dele and Vinicius have played well for me. Granted the opposition didn't show up, but neither have we on occasions.
Just watched the highlights Nbombele's run to set up the eventual 2nd was another Dembele-esque run. Winks' goal looked very much, to me, like it was intentional. He checked twice, and the position of his foot made it look like an intentional shot. Man, those kids getting into the match at the end and almost scoring twice. Are they really that good?
