Royal Antwerp v Tottenham Press Kit (This is really cool)

    Some tidbits from the above:
    - Spurs have faced Belgian opposition 10 times in European competitions and have yet to register a win in Belgium (D2 L3).
    - Antwerp's Ritchie De Laet and Spurs' Toby Alderweireld both earned their first Belgium cap in the same match against Chile in 2009.
    - This is Antwerp's first appearance in the Europa League, while it is Spurs' sixth.

A reminder that 5 subs (12 players on bench) are allowed to be made during 3 stoppages in the match for all Europa League ties this season. A 6th sub will be allowed in knockout stage extra time.

This match will be shown on CBS All Access.

Royal Antwerp is coming off a 3-2 win against city rivals Beerschot, a win that took them from 5th to top of the Belgian league.

That press kit thingy is pretty cool. Incidentally, that 3-1 win v Brugge at the bottom of page 2 ... I was there. Three days later was the home match v Chelsea, when we beat them (2-1 Dawson, Lennon) for the first time in, like, a hundred years or something. Somebody sort a vaccine, already - I wanna get back over!!

Another Thursday off work, and I'm looking forward to this one. Bale starts; Harry and Sonny sit. COYS!!

Pleased to see Dele Alli is starting. Not sure if a midfield three under Jose is his best position. Prefer him in front three but good luck.

Gio and Stevie play a nice one-two on the edge of the box but Stevie's shot is easily saved.

Rafaelov avoids a pathetic attempt at a tackle by Winks and fires over.

Good counter by Spurs, Deli with a nice ball over the top for Vinicius, but he loses possession when he tries to chop back.

Another bonehead error, this time by Davies who dawdles on the ball and gets dispossessed, Mbakani feeds the Israeli who drills the ball past Lloris.

HT 1-0, a poor first half punctuated by Davies's bonehead gaffe.

    1-0 HT.

Bergwijn well off the pace. Dele not looking up to it. Bale largely absent. Vinicius decent, could use some help.

Lamela for Bergwijn, maybe? Make nine changes and you can't really expect cohesion, but will more changes help? Hopefully we'll get control of this early in the second half. Just as soon not have to see Kane and/or Sonny tonight - but I suspect we will.

    Have a word, Jose.
