Hi folks -- Danny Kadah has turned in a stellar Ronnie Ekelund interview over at CSN. It's at: http://www.cybersoccernews.com/mls/earthquakes/ Go Quakes! Jay
indeed. also, a good quote generator: "those stupid defenders, maybe they're just a little louder than me"
Excellent article......I like that Corrales will start instead of Russell, I just hope that Russell stays on the bench. Ronnie ROCKS!!!
That is a very nice article about Ekelund, which means spejic is probably cooking up a reason to lock this thread.
Very cool article. I'm thinking that "6" in the middle of his jersey in the pic is looking a little like an "S"
This is an excellent interview... very well written. To bad the Mercury folks that cover the Quakes don't have half the talent for sportwriting that Kadah has. -KMJvet
Got Dane. A legitimate case for MVP. Ekelund isn't the forward or stats producing playmaker you hear about but he does his job in setting up the top guns such as Graziani et al. Speaking, Graziani's MVP trail has sputtered a bit in recent games, but Ekelund has been Johnny on the Spot when it mattered such as the DC United game and last weekend's tilt against Columbus. Someone in the Quakes PR department needs to get his name out for MVP--it's like delivering that knockout blow that ensures winning the game. Kudos to Danny Kadah!
Spejic is currently in UAE , working on Lazzizi for Ekelund swap , but don't fear we might get Zico ( the blond freakin' Zico ) for Graz . Wait Krapts don't own us anymore , they've been shown out that door .
OK , OK , OK , just a normal case of neurotic delirium , due to recurring nightmare of driving for 3 hours to see Thompson Conteh's move to the left , being the only forward on the field .
Thanks guys for the nice comments. We are seriously lucky to have access to such class individuals like Ronnie Ekelund on this team that make it easy to put together nice articles. -Danny
Please.....Ronnie's class has nothing to do with the quality of the article, you nailed it in a fasion that would make even spejic forget about Brose.
