It's most likely going to be held in Giants Stadium in NJ, like always. Unless of course they want to stick with SF, which has 2 Ecuadorians and 3 Colombians, to be exact.

Colombia's a good opponent to play in a friendly and in general, but quick question la federacion is so stupid but why doesn't Ecuador play friendlies against ARgentina or Brazil or other South American rivals, might as well it makes the competition more prepared to face each other the following year in the Copa AMerica and qualifiers.

Re: FIFA DATE: Ecuador vs. Colombia- October Not necessarily all the time, I mean Brazil has played some useless friendlies in the past year against Zimbabwe? Tanzania? Oman? Estonia? I mean who are these teams? I understand Italy, England, the United States, even South American rivals such as Venezuela or Bolivia, but cmon those above teams I mentioned aren't even close to having calibre of Bolivia or Venezuela. Those useless friendlies against Estonia or Tanzania and those crappy African teams could have been spent better preparing for the World Cup playing a South American rival, like Ecuador did before the 2006 World Cup against Colombia to prepare. It's no wonder that Brazil underperformed a bit at this World Cup, look at the calibre of teams they've been playing in the past year or so for friednlies, excluding England, the United States, and a couple of top 50s teams.

Hblan de incompetencia de los directivos, por no encontrar o gastar grandes cantidades de dinero para un rival grande como el que vos propones. los calendarios de todos los top 5 de conmebol estan saturados dicen ellos!!!

I was almost positive we were gonna play OOZEF*CKISTAN and some other islands since the standards of the FEF are mediocre lately. I'm pretty anxious to see who Rueda calls up. He's so clueless about our players. I'm ready to criticize.

Nice, that's a quality team to play against, they put all of their balls up against us in Germany 2006, this game should be interesting. A rematch of 2006. And against Canada I'm not too happy as they aren't playing that good, and Ecuador has a good record against them. It would be better, if we faced a more quality team from CONCACAF like Costa Rica, Honduras, the United STates, but I guess Canada isn't a push over either.

Re: FIFA DATE: Ecuador vs. Colombia- October en honduras.....mendoza, asistente y Rueda armaron un equipo muy bueno que elimino a mexico de los olimpicos, me parece que les dio resultado el proceso. de alli saco mucha gente para formar un grp de confianza, pero entre los referentes estaba el Lobo guevara y otros dos que como todos los grandes en cada pais, dividen la opinion, no recuerdo el nombre, pero Rueda choco con uno de esos trenes por 10 meses o mas, cuestiones de disciplina y viaticos. estubo a la sombra de la prensa y se retiro del limelight......gracias a dios los olimpicos opacaron esa bronca en los periodicos catrachos, al final lo llamo y el man declaro que estaba equivokado y estaria al lado de la bicolor 100%.....eso fue un triunfo de moral para el cuerpo tecnico y los dejaron trabajar en paz........ mejor dicho: si tiene apoyo federativo y no le piden que convoke a los de siempre, no habra problema, ademas es de entender, cada hombre de futbol tiene un ojo para ver las piezas que usara. En el foro de Hds hay muchas opiniones, dejeme pasar y traer un par de links, para el analisis.

Re: FIFA DATE: Ecuador vs. Colombia- October The only problem I have is Walter Ayovi on defence, he's already 32 so that's a minus I think he's good for club team but for national team I think his days should be over. We need someone to replace him as a LB, what good LB does Ecuador have at the moment? I'm not to familiar with up and coming players TBH.

Re: FIFA DATE: Ecuador vs. Colombia- October ik, but considering the teams Aragon played against (A sides of the US and Mexico), i don't blame him. his first and only 2 games for ecuador anyway. i still want to see more of him later on. Viteri though, an extreme fail.
Re: FIFA DATE: Ecuador vs. Colombia- October kinda sad that we cant pick better rivals for this game. we're both in rebuilding processes for the next qualifiers, so why dont they choose some good level teams to play against? we need good competition to prepare us for Copa america and qualifiers. Playing against teams like Haiti, El Salvador, and Jamaica didn't exactly help us qualify for South Africa.
