i honestly think Peru's just had bad luck. They have played well, but no positive results. If Markarian had came to Ecuador we would actually make sh*t happen. The way we play is just ugly.

Dominguez is the keeper with most potential in the country and has lots of international experience in his profile with Liga. Throughout the past years, you can see how much he's improved. Although with a bad defense, he turns into a nerve wreck- i'll admit that. That's what happened in Buenos Aires. What i like about Banguera is his leadership and confidence. That's the only thing that seperates Dominguez from him, nothing else. When it comes to pure talent, Dominguez has everything it takes to go far beyond Banguera's imagination. But as of right now, there's no "starter" in that position. I wouldn't feel any more secure having Banguera as the keeper against Colombia. 2 months of no playing is not the same as 2 weeks. Ok, my issues with Dominguez are not just the 2 goals that I hold him responsible against Argentina (my opinion, mind you) or even his known deficiency when it comes to coming out of the box to make stops or saves but it comes looking at hi entire performance in the current local tournament, you, as a Liga fan cannot tell me that his level has not been for a lack of better words "mediocre". too many goals that Liga has conceived can be credited to Dominguez' poor decision, remember the goal Angulo scored on him in Casa Blanca, or against Emelec? the one De Jesus scores on him? Finally, do we remember last time we played Colombia in a friendly? Falcao had a field day coming in in the last 15 minutes on Dominguez.
Now, Banguera by no means is Petr Cech and I know he just came from an injury, but his charisma and personality are intact I'd like to think, secondly and most important, his familiarity with Erazo and Campos (who seem as most likely starters) and that's got to count in a game like this, Now, regardinghis injury, he DID comeback almost a month ago and played 2 full (and very important) games with BSC. either way, it is Rueda's decision and I hope Dominguez proves me wrong.

I liked the last 5 minutes, Walter Ayovi and Paredez finally started helping out in the offense, Rojas is basically not doing jack, perhaps Mendez comes in? However our defense is absolutely horrible.

Chucho Benitez is freakin useless! Walter Ayovi is a disaster! We have had no clear goal opportunities. Our coach is incompetent. I hope we win, but it is frustrating to watch.
