Flu probably scared of the altitude but I don’t understand how these garbage brazucas won it. Liga should be 2 up.

I got 2 tickets in the middle upper bowl for about $207 for the Ecuador game. But I seen the lower bowl tickets going for $165-$250 during presale.

Colombia game was about $175 for 2 tickets and the QF was the most expensive at like $470 the pair. All pretty much mid upper bowl spots.

Joao Rojas to BSC. It’s going to be hilarious when the periohinchas of BSC demand he gets called up to the NT.

It was a close call but it’s a goal under the current rules. Liga deserved to win the game. They were the better team. I was impressed with the high press. Fluminense dominated possession but they had difficulty generating goal scoring opportunities.

Can’t believe Barcelona is just beginning to do this. I believe even Orense has their own training grounds that look amazing.

Is this all the "dark" money at work? I thought all these teams were in deep debt. (Barring Liga and IDV)

Solid message, De Zerbi is a class act... Pervis came back from injury and scored two screamers. After that he went on to make some costly mistakes most notably vs tottenham. Brighton have a packed schedule with FA cup and Europa League coming up and then they play City, Liverpool, Arsenal - theres no way I see him on the bench for all of this. The updside to this is hopefully he has more left in the tank come June and less risk of reinjury.

I'm not a huge fan of seeing players succeed for a season or two and immediately hoping they get sold off but, next season he'll be competing with the Argentine LB they bought. I wonder if some serious options to move are/or will be on the table

Manuel Sierra confirmed that there was an agreement in place for Allen Obando’s transfer. He would have gone to Cercle Brugge (Alan Minda’s club). The agreement was with the previous directiva. Antonio Alvarez became BSC’s new president and the transfer ultimately fell through. BSC is a cancer when it comes to Ecuadorian youth development.

Another gut wrenching loss for el niño moi

What a disaster Chelsea is. They missed like 4 clear opportunities if not more, and then completely gave up during extra time.

Did anyone watch Pacho play today? Another full 90 mins from that guy.

Watching from a neutral pov they created chances but Liverpool GK was insanely good too. I do really think they are improving game after game and perhaps a proven EPL striker will help them out put those chances away.

Moises needs to calm down with the aggressive tackles, he’s definitely gonna get sent off if that happens en las elimniatorias or Copa America, that was horrible what he did.

Kevin Rodriguez has a knee injury and would most likely miss the next friendlies. My list for that game of offensive players will be.
    Kendry Paez
    Pedro Vite
    Alan Minda
    Yeimar Medina

The other options to replace Rodriguez are
Jeremy Sarmineto 31 Games 5 Goals 0 Assists 1082 Minutes
Kike Saverio 16 Games 4 Goals 2 Assists 892 Minutes
Nilson Angulo. 20 Games 6 Goals 1 Assist 1181 Minutes (Between the Reserves and 1st team)

Flying back to Miami today (taking off soon) and the Liga bus followed. Got to take some pics with Dida and Adé.

We went through security and immigration with the the squad. Everyone was so nice. Super glad to take pics and just hang as they waited for their charter flight.

Truly hoping for the best this week. Countdown to the Maracana!

This pisses me off so much. Kid better start every game or he’ll just waste his career.

Cercle Brugge would have been a good destination for him. They’re a club that gives young players an opportunity to play. What’s interesting is that Monaco is actually the club’s majority share holders. It makes no sense for BSC to hold on to him. They’re not a club that gives young players an opportunity to play. Fydriszewski will be the starter. They also brought in Reasco. Obando will come off the bench and start on occasion. I think they want to hold on to him so they can sell him for a record sum. The problem with that is that his value is not going to go up by riding the bench. I’m guessing they’re going to hold on to him until after Ecuador plays in the South American Youth Championship and potentially the U20 WC next year.
