I have Slovenia going through also but the U.S. played great 25 mins of the second half.

But their defense stinks. If Howard isn't the goalie they would've lost by 3 or 4.

Nope...he made a mistake. The goal should have counted.

today's matches must have been the worse officiated matches yet.

Anybody saw when Chilavert hushed the Mexican by calling him an agrandado?

yeah, that's correct. Algeria played a hell of a match today...another underrated team in the World Cup. If Capello can figure out how to use the pieces that he has in a good way, then England would be with 6 points and already classified. I think that Algeria and England will progress.

What you all saw the other day was a glitch in the Matrix. This is what really happened:

A good showing by Serbia to get some points in the group. As of right now, there are no clear favorites to win the cup, which should make the games more interesting.

Completely agree with you. Masters of mediocrity. We do have a good team and have given argentina and brazil a run for their money, but only in a group stage, not when it really matters.

I being a mexicano, want to say we do have a great team and we should be recognized as such, but the proof is in the pudding and we havent done enough/anything to get that recognition; which im fine with because its true. I dont care about recognition, i want hardware and until we get some we will be a top 2nd tier team.

Rambert Vera was a monster for Paraguay, not only did he score but he was all over the field today, he got MOTM and fully deserved it.

I'm glad to see him bring his LDU form to the NT. :)

well he hasn't officially retired yet. they should definitely have a match played in his honor though or else the ecuafutbol would be one ungrateful mother f*ker in my book. i sometimes feel like some players don't get the appreciation they deserve, hopefully El Tin isn't one of them.
