MLSsoccer.com is reporting that Chilean outlets are reporting that the Dynamo are close to signing 25yo Chilean defender Jose Bizama. Bizama currently plays for a mid-level Chilean Primera team Huachipato. Bizama had 3 international caps last year presumedly in smaller games where the European contingent was not called in. Transfermarkt has his value at 475k Euros, which is about $533k. Someone has already updated Wikipedia to show that he is now a Dynamo. Bizama is central defender who also plays Right back. He is 5'11" 165#. If he pans out he could be a good depth addition at places we need depth or even an upgrade at right back. The following is summarized from wikipedia: Huachipata are the Steelers. Formed by a steel company in 1947. If you remember that Matias Vera came from O'Henry in the same league, a team birthed by a mining company in a mining town, you can see that the Dynamo have advanced along the chain of production to a manufacturer. Huachipata plays in Talcahuano, a coastal town of 151k population in South Central Chile. Stadium hold 11k. Huachapita last won a championship in 2012, the 2nd in their history. From what I can tell they played in Copa Sudamerica one time in 2014 winning two rounds before losing to Sao Paulo of Brasil.
