what is that thing you resting your arm on in the 2nd picture? is cricket BYOB (bring your own beer!)?
It is a fridge, I had amazing seats, we just bought normal seats through the normal ticketing agent, but turns out that category of seats were open air corporate boxes, so we had a fridge next to us. Hey thanks for the rep man, no idea how to see rep on people's accounts.
As far as I know you can only see your own rep level. Just click on your username where it says Welcome AussieDynamo! a the top right of the page and scroll down.
Got my FIFA/FFA/USSF clearance to referee in the South Texas Association, woo. I'll be a grade 7 whatever that means. As for an update - awaiting the Sydney consulate to send me my interview date for the visa, should know soon! Wedding rings arrived today - flying to the US on the 16th of February, our honeymoon is going to be up in the Hill Country.

The only good seats at a cricket match would be ones that reclined so you could be more comfortable while you snooze. I was wearing a Dynamo t shirt for my passport picture, but they told me not to wear anything with writing on it, so I had to wear it inside out.
Lies Brahma, lies. I'm going to make it the next big thing in the US! Heck I've got to have a shot at making the USNT, I suck, and haven't played in years but it can't be that hard! Got my visa interview date, February 9th, cutting it fine but should be OK
Congratulations and good luck. By the way, I have friends in Australia, maybe you know them? They used to live in Hobart, but then they moved somewhere in Victoria. Melbourne, maybe. You've probably seen them around. Tim and Lexi. Tell them I said hi.
I'll pass it on, just two out of 22 million. Melbourne is a long way away, I'm in the Central Coast which is an hour north of Sydney.
that'll be nice that time of year. The wildflowers will be coming out. I honeymooned in San Antonio because I just started a job and the more exquisite honeymoon had to wait a while
a couple pics from Sunday's Houston Marathon, 2nd straight year I wore Pat Ianni's old practice jersey that I bought at the '08 preseason equipment sale... post-race, 10 fingers for 10 marathon finishes (9 Houstons and 1 NYCM)
You sir are a badass. One more Houston and you get the fancy veteran race tag. I only have four marathons under my belt, including last weekend. I'm happy to see we all repped the colors once again. The highlight of the race for me was running through the Rice Village. Wade Barrett and his wife were on the side of the road and he cheered me on by name and I high-fived him as I ran by. Now there's an interesting piece of role reversal. Dad knocked out the 5k--his first 5k to fully run after returning to the sport following knee surgery. Good job, everyone!
Visa approved & arrived in the mail yesterday! I'll probably make the Chivas USA game & hopefully a few others throughout the year. 3pm games are good, I can do a flight from San Antonio and get home the same day, so the Seattle finale is a distinct possibility a long with whatever trips I can make to Houston.
That's true, although frequent flyer miles aren't awarded for a drive, and the speed of flights were more the reason. A 3 O'Clock game means that if my wife was working an evening shift I'd leave when she was going to work and get home when she was finishing work.
