HD2 got the win! 0-1 over MNU2. And Whitecaps2 lost on Thursday night. HD2 clinches a playoff spot if Quakes 2 lose or tie today at SKCII. Either way Dynamo 2 get closer to hosting a playoff game with a win over St. Louis CITY 2 at home on Saturday.

I'm still not 100% convinced on understanding the playoff structure. From the MLS Next Pro website: Playoff Qualification • 4 teams qualify from each Conference • Conference qualifiers include 2 Division Champions + the next 2 teams with the most points • Seeding/Hosting is decided by most points That says Seeding/Hosting is decided by most points but they have an "S" as a symbol in the standings for winning your division. That "S" must stand for "Seed". I can't think of anything else. Right now Tacoma Defiance has the "S" for clinching the Pacific Division but St. Louis, Houston, and Dallas could finish ahead of them on points. Dynamo junkies! The Dynamo 2 game tonight was very fun, reserve players played with pace, direct, OUTSTANDING defense and finished both goals in sublime fashion.
