Dutchman to be appointed Stoke City manager tomorrow

  1. Anyone got any idea who it is?.

  2. One rumour seems to be Johan Boskamp, formerly of many Belgian clubs and the Georgian National Team?

    How is he rated?.

  3. Looking almost certain to be Boskamp.

I see that he was successful with Anderlecht in the early/mid 90's,but he seems to be have been in Eastern Europe and the Gulf for the last 4 or 5 years - and has been sacked at regular intervals, including from a spell at Genk.

Is he rated as a good coach, does he play attractive football, good talent spotter?.Why has he been exiled in far-flung corners of the globe for the last few years?.Is his reputation now bad in Belgium?.

    Strengths and weaknesses?.

    Many thanks.
