I thought Janssen previously was not even formally registered in the first team squad, hence couldn't make it to the bench... with his loan deal fell apart (and helped by couple key departures incl. Dembele to China ), I read that Janssen is now in the official team - so maybe he will see a bench, albeit in the very rear end, near the parking lot
Peter Bosz warning to Frenkie de Jong when coaching at Ajax: https://www.ad.nl/nederlands-voetba...ler-had-ik-je-meegenomen-man-en-bal~aeb9b346/ Frenkie really should read this and integrate it in the way he plays.
The warning is that he should take care when to take it to the full run or that it's more sensible to pass earlier to avoid being hacked down. He should look at how far an opponent is from him and if it's far enough to avoid being hacked. He now does it and as being described in the article is upset/angry that he's being fouled. For his longevity he should heed Peter Bosz's warning. We all like to watch him play longer than until a fatal hack ends it.
He started on wing, probably thats why. Something to be taken note of. He kind of becomes less effective when on the flanks. Also looks bulky. Striker would suit him better or two man up-front. Karsdorp seems to be getting better and better he plays more. Another brilliant performane from him vs Milan. Was key in the built up to Zaniolos equalizer.
Good news about Steven Bergwijn. The injury will be assessed daily but it is not as bad as first feared. No break. He will not be out for months.
All Memphis' actions against PSG. Could have had at least one assist with better finishing by his teammates. Apparently he has been in a pretty impressive form as of late, and Man Utd want him back
I didnot expect this development in the Sandler signing by ManCity. I had the feeling he was picked up as another for the "cattle". Our #UCL Player List A for the Round of 16 has been confirmed!🔵 #mancity pic.twitter.com/iMplkSmSeW— Manchester City (@ManCity) February 4, 2019
Davy Klassen had another fine match as Bremen defeated Dortmund on penalties to advance on the German Cup. Klassen nailed the fourth PK as his side was perfect from the spot. It's unfortunate that he lost a year at Everton.

Here a full overview: https://www.vi.nl/nieuws/deze-nederlanders-maken-nog-kans-op-de-cup-met-de-grote-oren Imho he would be a better fit for midfield. It seems he does have reasonable stamina, he can pass well, has a good touch. He lacks the explosiveness and physicality of a winger imho.
Gini Wijnaldum just scored with a sweet lob - against Nathan Ake (waiting for FSF’s rants in 3, 2, 1,.... )
