Just starting my first full day in London, but if the rest of the trip is anything like yesterday, I'm in for the trip of a lifetime. Here are photos from Arsenal v WBA yesterday: Ofoto Gallery
Freakin repped! The best way for me to get inspiration besides reading the good book before Easter service is to look at the photos! You must have had great seats. Since I will not be able to see Highbury this is about as close as I will get. Love the shots of RVP looking at the camera, Anfield89, OldTrafford02, and I believe WhiteHartLane04, and also looks like the Arsenal ladies' team is still doing well (and we got a couple of hot ones! ). Great pics...Well time for church...Happy Easter everyone!...Thank ya now...Roscoe!
how did you get so close to the field??? were your seats right down on first row?? and did you have a press pass or something???? A M A Z I N G !!!
And I'd have to put in the toilets at highbury are immaculate....Nice pic! I'm so used to what passes here in the states for stadia commodes... Looks like you had fantastic seats. Did Denis score at yer end?
I have to agree with everyone else: those bathroom facilities are spectacular. Wish we had those high toilet standards in America.
very very impressive pictures esp those with superbob coming out of the tunnel and the flamini interview how close were you to that???
So close that we made eye contact, and gave each other a little nod and a smile as I walked by. That photo was taken just a few moments after I met TH14. Shook his hand, presented a trophy, posed for an AFC club photographer. Chills... The other players were all just milling about after the match, and I was just standing there waiting to make the presentation. I would have loved to ask them to sign my program or something, but couldn't really go running after them with the vase in my hands.
Yeah, sat w/Rick, then because Rick knows the steward that escorts the disabled folks from the Clock End, I got to walk with him along the edge of the pitch to where I was supposed to meet Jill instead of going back outside the stadium and around. THAT WAS AMAZING. However, I was quite conscious of not stepping on the pitch itself.
Mikey is definitely the big winner today! I was thinking about you all day on Saturday and hoped that you had fun presenting Thierry with the VAse! Great pictures! I know you had a blast!
They are now up on Bubbleshare.com and on the ArsenalAmerica website with slideshow options if you are too tired to click through them all.
You beat me to it, Steph, I was going to use the Mikey is the big winner line. Guess I'll have to rep you.
