Always tough to go out on away goals, especially since Koller scored the away goal. I'm not surprised Sigma is having problems scoring goals, but at least we haven't given up too many.

I really hate to, but as you were a polite and positive contributor to this thread:

Congrats to Olmouc! Hopefully you guys kick some Hamburg ass. :)

Btw, your crowd were incredible. I have seen some grounds and supporters but those 12.000 were absolutely rocking the place. Impressive!

Thanks, I wish Dortmund the best of luck with their season. I didn't get a chance to see the game, but good to hear that the crowd were into the game. Hopefully some pictures will surface soon. :)

It's a wish of mine. IMO, we need his transfer fee more than we need him.

After yesterday, things don't look too good. They are going to have to have one hell of a BL season.......

BVB willl actually play a better BL season now. The team isn't deep enough to sustain three competitions (league, cup, UEFA). I also predict an early exit from the DFB cup. The team can then prepare for 34 matches, have a predictable schedule, and get rid of 1-3 more players. Sucks for the budget, but it's better for the patient. BVB has to accept that there's no quick return and start working on the fundamentals; an approach that's long overdue. I think the only one who gets this is the coach, it's just dawning on the players, and management may still not have a clue.

I hope you are right. That's more confidence than I have right now.

Yes, but we needed that UEFA Cup money.

I don't think so. For once, I think they will push hard for that. It's an automatic UEFA Cup berth.

I think we only need to get rid of Jan Koller. He's not going to extend with us and he can leave for nothing after the season. We won't get as much for him now as we would have a few months ago, but I think it's better than letting him get away for nothing. No matter how much it hurts during the season.

That's exactly what they are doing. However, they had to take a shot at the UEFA Cup too. The club needs the money above everything else.
