A crisis has arisen with our heroes! This championship winning band of lovable characters is on a run of defeats that threatens their dreams of capturing glory. A robust defense is now all too easy to break through, and when our Crew attack, it most often peters out. The citizens have high expectations, and have begun to further increase the pressure on the heroes. Now they face a trip to a megatropolis to the west to face an old rival in red. Their campaign has been a disaster, and dreams of glory for their red wearing villains have long been dashed. But still, they yearn to inflict yet more failure to our yellow clad heroes. Can we turn things around, or will E.V.I.L. triumph?

3 points are needed to save our season . We are spiraling out of control . When Zardes leaves again we are doomed . Sign a real deal striker immediately! Bradley Wright-Phillips is washed up and not a system fit , Hurtado is not good enough he belongs on a team like FCC
Lolz, have you seen their attendance numbers? I'm surprised they aren't paying the homeless to stand in the crowd.
Guys, I think a draw against perennial doormat Chicago Fire could be the result we need to really turn the season around.
We need the Megabus. I am super-duper serial. Zardes needs a break, BWP needs to move to a condo in Florida amd Hurtado needs a new profession. Either that or send him back to San Diego and let him go back to scoring buckets of goals for LDo, since Caleb isnt interested.
Holy cow, $15 a seat. We probably don't have the money for a top striker and none would be interested in a part time gig replacing Zardes for a few games. And the transfer window is closed so we're limited to trades within the league or people who are out of contract.
Well, Zardes will have had 8 days between the Atl and the Chic game. But then two days off before RB in NY on Wed and then two more before the home game vs Seattle Invented on Sat. So, he and others will certainly need squad rotation to rest. Not sure what I think re: BWP vs Hurtado vs Berry, but I would give one of them 60-70 min on Wed to spell Gyasi. (I wasn’t a fan of Lucas as the striker; he needs to be in a position where he can try to create the scoring chances.)
This team is not only desperate for a victory, but also a performance that'll help dispel the rancid taste of the past few games. Chicago presents them with a good opportunity not only to get a victory (on the road, yet) but to do so in a dominating fashion that might help re-set the team's attitude. It would be mind-boggling if we rolled out a B-squad for this game. Based on our recent form, why the hell would anyone think such a strategy would get a result? To be honest, I have little faith our A squad is up to the task. Virtually everyone on that so-called A team needs to prove that they are worthy of their starting roles and salaries. Sunday in Chicago provides them with that opportunity. By the way, the forecast for Sunday is partly sunny with a high of 78, 76 at kickoff with pretty low humidity. So in terms of worrying about playing lots of games in a short period of time, at least the conditions this Sunday are favorable.
I thought the transfer window closed last week? How can we sign a new striker if that's the case? Primary Transfer Window: Wed., March 10 – Tues., June 1, 2021 Secondary Transfer Window: Wed., July 7 – Thurs., August 5, 2021
