Re: Bobby McFerrin (Philly Edition) Well I Googled far and wide, I couldn't find anything saying it, except this one article found here: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=580908&page=1 The article in the first post is from Canada and you have to pay to read it, but the first poster claims Garber says because of Becks, expansion could be 18 by 2012 now. If anyone has more info, I would be interested in reading more.
Re: Bobby McFerrin (Philly Edition) well if we have to wait a little that can only give us a better chance, considering the other cities we'll be up against. Right?

Re: Bobby McFerrin (Philly Edition) So, a follow-up: http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/sp...F7B1620FC110363786257354001254D8?OpenDocument At the bottom of that article, there's a comment that indicates that we could have 4 new teams by 2010. Kinda hard to tell how much is reporter speculation, but it certainly seems like the door is open.
Re: Bobby McFerrin (Philly Edition) One of NY2, Las Vegas, Cleveland, Atlanta, Vancouver, Montreal, San Diego... or whoever else suddenly appears out of the woodwork.
Re: Bobby McFerrin (Philly Edition) So whats wrong with Fargo, North Dakota? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fargo,_North_Dakota Theres almost 100,000 ppl there!
Re: Bobby McFerrin (Philly Edition) Well if thats true, then check this city out: Chester, Delaware County, Pennsylvania pop: ~35,000 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chester,_Pennsylvania
Re: Bobby McFerrin (Philly Edition) Don't worry SOBs, be happy. Did anyone see this article from the Bulletin? It's poorly formatted on my screen and the writer inaccurately lists the league as having 14 teams currently, presumably they have already included San Jose for the purposes of this article. However, it has some nice quotes from Mr. Garber, not sure if they are new quotes or not, and it was written on the same day as StL passing the new stadium deal. http://www.thebulletin.us/site/news.cfm?newsid=18800045&BRD=2737&PAG=461&dept_id=576361&rfi=6 We're still in this thing.
Re: Bobby McFerrin (Philly Edition) Agreed. I figured in this thread, we could use all the support we can get even if the paper is shite.
Re: Bobby McFerrin (Philly Edition) Time for the happy thread to catch up
Re: Bobby McFerrin (Philly Edition) Day off from work today and they had a show on GOLTV that featured the Millwall fans in the UK. One of their favorite songs is No One Likes Us and the whole stadium sings it. Sounded awesome. Song page. They had another one that looks easily adaptable: You are my Millwall (Philly) My only Millwall (Philly) You make me happy when skies are grey (and blue and white) You never notice how much i love you Please don't take my Millwall(Philly) away La la la la la bush (Yes, I'm posting this too the song thread also, but thought I'd post here for fun.)
Re: Bobby McFerrin (Philly Edition) I've got a beauty cooked up we will be releasing on the bus ride to MLS Cup.
Re: Bobby McFerrin (Philly Edition) no profanity in this one. although a couple others i've worked up to introduce ourselves may or may not.
Re: Bobby McFerrin (Philly Edition) Clean is good, but some times you just gotta say WTF... Another Millwall sample: I can't read i can't write But i can drive a tractor I'm a Norwich City fan And i'm a ********ing wanker!
Re: Bobby McFerrin (Philly Edition) I like this one, very adaptable. I can't read, I can't write, But I can drive a tractor. I'm a Red Bull New York fan, And I'm a ****ing wanker!
