Post #2: I was born in DC and have lived near it all my life. I've been a United fan from the beginning, yet unfortunatly I've never made it out to a match. I know that many European club and country teams have special cheers or one-liners that refer to the team like Itlay's Forza Azurri (sp?)...my qustion is if DC United has anything like that (something like "Vive DC!" or "Black-and-Red-Forever!") that gets shouted or chanted during the games? -Much thanxs to any and all who reply...
Hmmmm, a DC fan from the beginning, lived around here all your life and NEVER went to a game? Shame on you!! You MUST come out. NO QUESTION. Try and make a point of going to the August 10th game. Check out FAQ on this board for all the information you'll need as far as tickets, Metro, parking etc....... Then make your way down to the Barra Brava, or Screaming Eagle or La Norte sections for all the chants you can handle. You only need to go once, you'll be back for more. GUARANTEED
