http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/cgi-bin/pds.pl Yestarday I saw this Mitre ball in English League Cup. Looks like a ball of 50s-60s, but costs 140$
mitre balls are fantastic, they use to sponsor the balls for the EPL before nike took over, and theyre mid-range to high end balls were better than any other on the market. the Mitre Ultimax (last epl ball) was a joy to kick around, and the mid range Mitre Monde, was also awesome.
I just love the Mitre balls. with their 18-26 panels, they actually have a good touch when you shoot. It'll sound goofy, but the balls actually don't spin or lose trajectory. When you make a pass, they don't go all over the place. It sad not many countries adopt to this ball , perhaps, the market has every convinced of a hexagon 32-panel ball, and not something that looks like a volleyball, But Mitre makes good footballs
Im sure if Mitre could tweak up the touch, surface, etc. or lighten the psi needed to keep the shape of the balls, Im sure they'd get top-class league usage again!!!!
