Confirmed by Melissa Reddy. LFC are closing in on Diogo Jota from Wolves in a deal expected to be in excess of £35m Perhaps Hoever is part of the deal.
LFC have opened official talks with Wolves today for Diogo Jota. The Portuguese winger is the main target. Jorge Mendes already contacted for personal terms [2025] too. -Fabrizio Romano Jota is only 23 and can play anywhere across the front three. Wasn't expecting this but I like it .
according to what I read is they really like Jota's work rate with and without the ball and that he can play across the line

A lot of people are pointing out that Jota’s numbers are very similar to what Mane’s were at Southampton. This feels like a similar type of signing. The big difference is we needed Mane to go straight into the first team and Jota almost certainly won’t.
But he will play - a lot. The key - we can now handle an injury to the front three with Jota, Minamino, and Origi. (Granted I still think Origi might get sold).
