I hope Cuba does well here and in the Gold Cup. I feel that they should have qualified but were very unlucky with against Costa Rica. 2-2 overall but did not pass because of away goals. talk about bad luck.

    Nat'l Team:
    United States
    Cuba 2, Trinidad & Tobago 1
    Jamaica 1, Barbados 0

    Cuba 2-0-0 6pts 5:1 +4
    Jamaica 2-0-0 6pts 3:1 +2
    Trinidad & Tobago 0-0-2 0pts 2:4 -2
    Barbados 0-0-2 0pts 0:4 -4

Next games are Cuba-Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago-Barbados on Thursday.

Cuba and Jamaica are in the Gold Cup, but Jamaica have to win to win the Digicel Cup, otherwise (loss or tie due to goal difference) Cuba wins.

Barbados need to win their game to qualify for the Gold Cup, otherwise (loss or tie due to goal difference) Trinidad & Tobago will take 3rd and the final spot.

So 10 of the 12 teams are known.

I predict Cuba beats Jamaica 3-2 to win this tournament and Barbados comes through for the home crowd and beats T&T 1-0 to get into the gold cup(For the first time?)

T&T is currently beating Barbados 2-1 just before the half.

Shouldn't this thread be in the Caribbean forum?

Would be nice to see Barbados win and get their first Gold Cup appearance. Trinidad will not perform well at the tournament. They are not the team they used to be.

This would seem to make sense, I asked for it yesterday too, but haven't heard back yet.

    Goal T&T (Eve) 3-1 around 75'

Looks like that will be it for Barbados

Disappointed with Barbados. With home advantage, they should really have done better.

3-2, Barbados gets one back with less than 5 minutes to play. Too little too late.

I'm not so sure. With T&T being embarrassed at home by the US earlier this month, Jamaica having to watch Panama in the Hexagonal, and Cuba still burning from being edged out of World Cup qualifying on away goals by Costa Rica, Barbados had to play three decent quality CONCACAF teams hungry for a result.

Not surprisingly, their best match was against T&T. Only because T&T sucks hind teat.

FYI, T&T was never embarrassed vs USA.....

We went to Brabados with a C Team and had 4 injuries before we met Barbados and Cuba (Rojas, King, Gray & Pierre), 1 suspension (Nakhid) we also had to call two players who has never played for T&T in their life to come help out our defense (Jack & Henry). I am not making excuses, but facts is facts, stop trying to make us look bad...
