This group was also supposed to play in the Caymans in Sept. or Oct., I believe, but the venue was changed after a hurricane left the damaged Caymans in its wake.
French Guiana and Martinique qualified from Group B a couple of weeks ago, as did St. Kitts & Nevis and St. Lucia from Group F. We had threads on those groups when the games were played. Group C went by default to Cuba, since all the other teams withdrew.

PR GOT A TIE!!! Of course, it would have been great to get a win, BUT IF PR BEATS GRENEADA IT CAN STILL GO THROUGH, WHICH WOULD MAKE HISTORY US. Hell, if PR ties Grenada that will make history. If only the Boricuas could have won! But hey, I'm not complaining... Donde hay vida, hay esperanza (where there is life, there is hope)
With those results, Grenada finish second in Group D behind Trinidad & Tobago, and Jamaica take first place over Haiti in Group A. Some more Sunday results: Group A: United States Virgin Islands 0:0 St. Martin Group E St. Vincent & the Grenadines 4:0 Cayman Islands British Virgin Islands 2:0 Bermuda A stunning win for BVI, who grab the second spot behind St. Vincent. Grenada:5 PR:2 I don't know the result of the Trini-Surinam game. PR did not achieve it's goal of going through. Too bad. That would have been a great step for the program. GOHB, by the way, thanks for posting the results of the PR-SUR tie the other day. I couldn't get that info anywhere not on PR or Trini websites, not Yahoo, not CONCACAF until you posted it. I really appreciate it. I was able to share it with soem other PR supporters.

Interesting article on the Bermuda-British Virgin Islands game from the Royal Gazette: http://www.theroyalgazette.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20041129/SPORT/111290107 The Bermuda coach essentially charges BVI with improperly using former St. Vincent players. He's obviously unhappy at losing, so consider the source. But BVI took a big jump up in class in this tourney, and you wonder how they did it.
http://www.virginislandsdailynews.com/index.pl/article_sports?id=1066984 Another article about the Bermuda-BVI match from the VI Daily News. Interestingly, the Daily News is based on St. Thomas, USVI, where the USVI Federation offices are and there was not one sentence about the USVI playing in the Digicel Cup.
maybe you dont care about this thread, neither do i, i dont even know where those islands are, but what i know is the they do deserve respect. This caribbean soccer is improving daily... BTW i guess you didnt like the zzzz zzzz zzzz you have on your duplicated thread.
Go Haiti!!! I don't really care who wins the Digicel Cup i just want them to qualify and i'm pretty sure the 3 teams going to the Gold Cup next year are going to be Haiti, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago.
This is extremely disrespectful and I think you should appologise. OK, this may not be a major tournament on the scale of the World Cup, but the people from these islands probably regard this as their National Team's biggest opportunity to enjoy some success. I'm sure you wouldn't be so eager to post like that if we were talking about a tournament involving Guatemala.
