    Fantastic news. Every team in this league could use a Gutierrez on the field and in the community.

    It's a four-year deal, which is pretty standard in MLS. He said Sunday night that he intends to "finish out this contract, then retire and buy (Wizards) season tickets and watch from the stands". He has no interest in coaching.

    Yeah, Diego actually signed a few weeks back. They just hadn't announced it yet. He told me about it Sunday night.
