There's been more good news about Eirik Bakke and Seth Johnson returning early from injury. It would still be February but that could prove to be some vital depth.

It'll be nice when they come back. It'll seem like two signings brought in for the last few months of the season.

5 million pounds will bring in another couple of players as well.

    Sebastian Sainsbury isn't done yet:

I don't want to get my hopes up again, but from the sound of this article, it sounds like he is making a better bid. He has reportedly dropped Nova Financial Partners. Norman Stubbs who has a smaller bid, could possibly step aside if Sainsbury's bid is what he says it is this time.

They just love to toy with my emotions.

krasner comes off as a cunty bastard as far as i am concerned.

when he wants proof of funds, what does he want, exactly?

a friggin briefcase with 25m quid sitting on his desk? cause it appears as if nothing short of that will do.

Hey! Gylfi can start in our next game!

    Anybody?!

Sorry I just felt the need to post some reasonably good news.

I hope we get to see some of Gylfi against Crewe on Jan1, but that might not be possible, as i think he can't sign until Jan 1, in which case he might not be able to play on the same day. If he can't play on Jan 1 at home to Crewe, then maybe we'll see him on Jan 3 - away against Coventry.

Nathan Blake is being brought in on loan from Leicester. He's a target guy so it looks like he's taking Deano's spot and will be inserted in the lineup immediately.

Interesting offer from West Brom. They are reportedly willing to give 500K and three players for Scott Carson. Here are the three player profiles who could be involved in the deal:

I don't think this counts as bad news, yeah it hurts to lose Carson, but gaining three players in return provides great depth for our squad.

Funny that Carson wants to leave Leeds to play premiership football, but West Brom are going straight back down this year, not sure what sense it makes.

Talks are resumed after the festive break with the Stubbs/Sainsbury bid to take over the club for £25m

I'd rather have another Southampton player whose name begins with "B" and ends with "rett Ormerod".
