"New Team For DiCicco January 23, 2007 Tony DiCicco, who coached the U.S. women's soccer team to an Olympic gold medal and a World Cup title, announced Monday he will head SoccerPlus Connecticut, a new team in the Women's Premier Soccer League. DiCicco, from Wethersfield, will be the owner and coach for the team, which will play in the eight-team Eastern Conference-North Division.
