SHOULD be a win...but it's the minnows that get us. I still expect a win.

Will Andreas Görlitz's band be playing the halftime show?

I do not want to see Badstuber, Muller, Lahm, Schweinsteiger nor Ribery. Preferably Gomez out as well. I've talked about this, we cannot have our main players start every match in such a demanding system, and Heynckes would be crazy if he continues this way (only rotating 3 "specific" players) rather than the whole team.

Play 4-2-2-2, Petersen & Olic up front with Alaba & Usami out wide, Tymo/Gusti tandem and Van Buyten instead of Baddy and Contentfail instead of Lahm.

Schweinsteiger is a bit ill so he probably won't feature.

And Gomez is a bit "less confident" so i guess he will feature to regain it. [IMG]

I'd rest the big guns, but have a few of them in the bench just in case Ingolstadt try to pull off a TSV Vestenbergsgreuth trick.

Definite starters: Contento, Usami, Tymo, Alaba, Petersen, Olic; I might also be tempted to give H-J Butt a game and give Manu a rest.

I hope H rests his players because we have a game this weekend and a very important CL right after.

I would be pissed if he has all his starters.

Mueller needs a mental break, piggy and lahm deserve a break.

Ribery need him and kroos for Napoli.

    And so on...

As a captain, I don't see Lahm getting a rest. I don't see Neuer sitting either.

DVB in for Badstuber if Boateng can play (???) - He is not banned for Pokal matches, correct???? Besides he 'owes' the team. Holger has had a rough last couple matches.

Gustavo needs to play as he was robbed of playing DM last match (JB sending off)

Mueller needs a rest, or perhaps he needs a chance to prove himself. Maybe rest Schweini, put Kroos in the middle with Gustavo, and let Mueller sit behind Gomez.

Peterson should come on for Mario 2nd half.

Rafinha needs the match fitness to get ready for CL.

Wouldn't mind seeing Alaba get a start and/or Olic for that matter.

Have Tymo and Schweini on reserve.

And WTF is wrong with Pranjic that he can't get two seconds on the pitch??!!! I just don't get this one, man. Jupp and I are on different pages there. Let him go in winter if you aren't going to use him. Perhaps that has been the plan from day one.

    Eissman's lineup ~ Option A

    ..................... Neuer.......................
    Rafinha.......DVB......Boateng.......Lahm
    ...............Gustavo.......Kroos............
    Alaba...............Mueller.............Ribery
    .......................Gomez....................

    Eissman's lineup ~ Option B

    ..................... Neuer.......................
    Rafinha.......DVB......Boateng.......Lahm
    ...............Gustavo.......Schwein.........
    Mueller..............Kroos................Alaba
    .......................Gomez....................

I don't see Jupp sitting too many starters to be honest.
Is it me or has his squad rotation slowed as of lately???

I would love to see this line-up:

    ---------------Neuer--------------
    Rafinha---Boateng---Badstuber---Lahm
    ----------Gustavo---Alaba------------
    ---------------Kroos------------------
    Mueller---------------------------Ribery
    ---------------Gomez------------------

Bring Usami and Olic in as wingers during the second half, and replace Gomez with Petersen.

This is how I'd line things up - I'd actually use this as an opportunity to play two up front to give both Olic and Petersen a start:

Butt - Rafinha, Daniella, Boa, Contento - Gustavo, Kroos, Tymo, Alaba (Usami) - Olic, Petersen

I think retarded or idiotic would be a better word to describe this if Heynckes does it. If our starters play this game, then he should rest them vs Nurnberg but we know that won't happen.

Or maybe he'll rest Gusti & Boateng like he's done all season and call it "rotation"

Due to our not so deep bench, plus illness and injury, several regular starters will play in this match. I'm hoping for Alaba, Petersen, Olic, and Usami to see good minutes though.

Problem is that this will hurt us in the long run if Schweini, Muller, Kroos and Gomez keep playing every game. Then we will wonder 2nd half why they are not in form and cannot keep up the tempo, and what happened to their 1st half of the season form.

It seems some of these important players the only way not to play is for them to get injured for one week... Our B players are still at the very least on par esp against such a team. Have Ribery, Muller, Gomez and Piggy on the bench and bring them 2nd half if we are tied/loosing.

I agree with the general consensus that Müller should be given a rest - I am one of his biggest fans but we shouldn't even need him on the bench for this one. In my previous lineup I would have given Boateng a rest were it not for his being banned for the silly Schulz slap.

If we are really serious about resting people:

[LINEUP-4-5-1]Petersen, Pranjic, Alaba, Kroos, Olic, Gustavo, Contento, Badstuber, Boateng, Rafinha, Butt[/LINEUP-4-5-1]

Olic as SS, Kroos and Gus as CM. Tymo and Usami as subs along with Lahm and Ribs.

Pranjic is so far out of match form, though, that I have no idea what to expect from him and it could leave our left flank without much defensive cover.

    Meh...Pokal
