I just repped you for all the good info you bring to the German Board. Thanks!

I feel this is one of the more insightful and fun boards on BS. Unfortunately a lot of the other boards are filled with a lot of ---well how do I put this politely--mmmm I can't.

Thank you very much. I will rep, too!

Maybe we should do it like the folks over at the England boards, they all seem to rep each others over and over again - my only explanation why they all have such huge reps. Can`t come from their contributions! ;) :D

Wow...how amazing was this victory? I feel like we won a big championship....Two great performances in a row now.....Makaay again. Hargreaves showed that he is usefull, so did Ballack. Great great great!

I hate to p*ss on your bonfire, but I was there and wasn't so much impressed with Bayern as I was appalled at Stuttgart. Theirs was a terrible performance, playing far too deep and with a total lack of ideas in midfield. The last two goals were down to awful defending. Hargreaves' goal was a cracker, though.

Short summary of the game and the the marks. (rated by "kicker", Germany's biggest football-magazine)

1 is the best, 6 is the worst.

    BAYERN:

    Kahn (3)
    Kuffour (3), Lucio (2,5), Kovac (3), Salihamidzic (3)
    Frings (2,5), Ballack (2,5), Hargreaves (1,5), Schweinsteiger (3)
    Pizarro (4,5), Makaay (3)

I don't agree with Pizarro's and Kuffour's marks. Kuffour played very well, didn't make mistakes in the defence and had a good offensive performance. He deserved a 2 IMO. Pizarro worked his butt of in the midfield, won many balls and had an assist. IMO this is at least a 3..
Makaay played a great first half, had many chances in the first 45min, i think it rather was a 2, while Frings and Schweinsteiger are rated too high...

bench: Rensing, Hashemian, Rau, Linke, Guerrero (64. for Pizarro), Scholl (83. for Makaay), Demichelis (83. for Schweinsteiger)

    STUTTGART:

    Hildebrand (3,5)
    Delpierre (4,5), Stranzl (3,5), Babbel (5), Lahm (4)
    Heldt (4,5), Soldo (4,5), Hleb (3,5), Meißner (4)
    Cacau (5), Kuranyi (5)

    Player of the game: HARGREAVES

    Bayern's formation:

    ------------Makaay-----------Pizarro------------

    ---Schweinst.-------------Hargreaves------------
    ----------------Ballack---------------------------
    -----------------------------Frings---------------

    Brazzo-------Kovac--------Lucio-----------Kuffour
    --------------------Kahn-------------------------

Goals: 1:0 Hargreaves (35., assist Pizarro), 2:0 Ballack (69., assist Hargreaves), 3:0 Makaay (79., Guerrero)

looks a bit strange.. Hargreaves played in front of Ballack and Frings, because had to take care of Hleb, Stuttgart's playmaker. Kuffour and Salihamidzic were very offensive most of the time. Bayern played agressive forechecking, Stuttgart didn't seem to have a chance to win at any time of the game.

ZDF showed the formation like this, during the match it looked to be right.

    -------Makaay-------Pizarro--------
    --------------Frings----------------
    Pigfucker----------------Hargreaves
    -------------Ballack----------------
    Salihamidzic--Kovac--Lucio--Kuffour
    --------------Kahn-----------------

Frings and Ballack often rotated between each other.

According to the article on FCB.de about Ballack's new position as a no. 6 it would seem that he was lined up like this.

Yep, 'tis true, I was there and that's how it looked to me. He played in that position against Juve and Hannover as well.

    Thanks Dead Fingers.

That's actually not bad, this is the real life mascot I am scared of.

There is something evil and sinister about him that I just can't quite place my finger on.
