Corner is cleared only as far as Hargreaves.

60' Kuffour makes a beautifull pass to Pizza who misses but Lucio has a chance to stab the ball in at the far post but cannot put it into the net.

61' Freekick for Bayern but Lucio misses severly. The ball is out for a throw in.

Bayern are really pressuring VFB in their own half.

When VFB have possession Bayern tries to keep them in their own half and are really pressing them hard.

64' Paolo Guerrero comes on for Pizzaro.

WOW two Matches in two days for the young Peruvian.

No doubt... how about that! Some vote of confidence from Magath. You have got to like how Felix favors young talent.

I hope he sticks one in the net.

How is Philip Lahm playing for Stuttgart? Nice to potentially see him in a Bayern jersey next season.

Counter for Bayern fails and VFB now couter, and miss a great chance from Tiffert.

Tiffert wins the ball in the middle and puts it to the outside where Hleb crosses back to Tiffert, but Kuffour blocks his shot with a flying tackle.

Edit: Heldt went off for Tiffert not Hleb

TOOOOOOOOOOOR: 69' MICHAEL BALLACK from a header after a Hargreaves freekick.

So far this match Ballack has played very well. I think Magath's new midfield really suits Ballack and Frings and allows Bayern to really pressure their opponents and allows Ballack to play more to his strengths.

Owen Hargreaves with a hell of a game... 1 goal and 1 assist. Brilliant!

Phillip Lahm picked up a yellow card for a foul on Frings. Hargreaves lined up to take the freekick and sent in the cross. Ballack met the ball 5 meters from goal and sent an unstoppable header past Timo Hildebrand.

74' Szabics comes on for Cacau.
75' Corner for VFB. Ballack clears and Lahm eventually sends in another cross but Meissner fouls Lucio.

VFB are now starting to build up a large amount of possession, however they are not creating many dangerous chances.

78' Szabics puts a 17 meter shot over the bar.

81' Meissner off and Vranjes comes on. He intercepts a pass from Kovac but loses out to Lucio who plays it back to Kahn. He plays the ball forward and Lahm wins the header.

82' Kovac picks up a yellow card for a foul on Kuranyi.
82' Subs. Scholl on for Schweinsteiger, and Demichellis on for Makaay.

FCB appears to be content to soak up pressure from VFB, but they really have no chance to get back into the match.

Kuranyi plays the ball to Vranjes who passes it on to Hleb, but his shot is straight at Kahn and very weak.

86' Kuranyi fouls Guerrero and Ballack takes the freekick to Frings. Frings' cross is cut out and VFB attack. However it comes to nothing.

    subs in: Guerraro, Scholl, Demichaelis
    subs out: Pizarro, Schweinsteiger, Makaay

Does this mean we have gone to a 4-5-1?? Who is the left side midfielder... Scholl or has Ballack or Brazzo gone up to that spot?

Bayern not risking anything and are playing out the final few minutes.

Kovac fouls and VFB take it quickly but Lucio cleans it up and plays it forward to Ballack.

    The match ends at 3-0.

Bayern were totally dominant in this match.
