i'm going to be giving my dad some extra memory for his slow computer. how do i figure out what type to get? pc100, sdram, etc. he runs winxp.
If you can go over and get on his pc, go to www.crucial.com and run the memory tool. It will tell you what type of memory you need as well as the maximum amount that the system will take.
