El club chileno Deportes Arica, de la Segunda División, estudia la posibilidad de integrarse al fútbol peruano en caso de perder la categoría, afirmó ayer a la AFP el dirigente José Miguel Núñez. from www.elbocon.com.pe
Heh this is funny, but it can get very political here. I personally wouldn't mind... wouldn't mind sending them to our second division.
So if they cant hang in the chilean 2nd division, they want to come here? Do we have a 3rd division, cuz thats where they should be put in. From what I see if they were doing good they would be heading to the chilean 1st division. I never even heard of this stupidity.
if they join our second division at the expense of a peruvian team then they can stay right where they are.
Somebody needs some anger management classes. Anyways, I really hope they don't let this team play in Peru. If they are mediocre enough to fall into 3rd division, then they obviously don't have the level to play professional futbol.
they want to move to first division in Perú? dosen't FIFA have rules against that......not letting a team from another country play in the league of another country, so they would move to Perú and stop being Chilean.....that's ludicrous.
Yes it's absurd, I've never even heard of that. And keso, yes we have a sort of 3rd division but it's mostly small equipos de barrio made up of neighborhood kids. No way they could afford to travel to Arica to play away games. And our entire 2nd division is based in Lima and they won't take making a 20 hour bus ride to Chile to play this team nicely either. They barely have enough to buy water for the players. Hell, if they travel to Chile they might stay there to live.
what i heard some years ago was that they wanted to let celtic and rangers from scotland play in the EPL cos they are way too dominant for the rest of the scotish league.
Just to be sure we are all on the same page, Arica was part of Peru and lost it to Chile, so political is nice term. I wouldn't go there myself. Don't let them play in Peru.
I believe they want to join the tacna region, and go up to the first division through the copa peru system
i think it was rangers and celtics that looked to move to EPL. oh, and fucq arica. sorry, jodanse y quedanse por alla.
I've read somewhere about them wanting to form a combined league under the United Kingdom...we'll see what happens.
This would get really ugly if they tried this and the nasty politics would seem nice and easy compared to the ******** hitting the fan. What ever happened to the Super League idea in Europe?
