How is this not up yet? He's fit, I'm sure the team is raring to go given the circumstances. Won't be able to watch it, but should be a great game. Hoping for at least an away goal, draw would be enough to see them through I think... Gotta love the success Fulham is having!
A good time to play vs Hamburg. They are on their way down in the Bundesliga, everyone hates their manager (who will be sacked after this season), some important players want to leave the club, some important players are injured.
Dempsey will get a brace today in a 3-1 Fulham win that sees them through! On another note, how is Dempsey not the face of American soccer? Dude is everything we suposedly value in terms of coming from nothing, having grit and determination as well as an attacking mentality and giant cajones, not to mention he is the only field player playing well at an elite level. /end rant.
yes but isn't the final in their stadium? that's got to be some motivation there..in addition to the $$ bonuses..
Right. But their play as a whole has suffered, the team disintegrated into pieces, they have more or less just been 11 semi-motivated individuals; I don't expect them to show a good team performance, even if they try. They are just used to play halfheartedly, and without any inspiration now.
It looks like Clint is at least at the stadium... is that him in the blurry background in pic with Etuhu?? Mace
Man, if Fulham were just able to get past Tottenham in the FA Cup QF, but alas I hope the they reach the Europa League Final with Clint leading the way! COYW!
